This is an opportunity for the parents who registered their children, especially for the first time at Telugu Badi, to know the inner workings and operations of this organization. They get a chance to meet all the teachers and learn about the syllabus taught at each level. They will be made aware of what is expected of students and parents. They can ask any questions and clarify any doubts. TCA Telugubadi stresses upon the conduct of the students as well and in case the students fails to comply to classroom rules or teacher’s instructions, parents are asked to be present in the class as the “watchdog parent”. Similar guidelines are intimated to parents. They also get a chance to meet the high school volunteers. They are those who graduated “Utteerna” the highest level offered at TCA Telugu Badi and then volunteer as teacher assistants. All in all, it’s a great opportunity for parents and teachers to meet and mingle

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parents are the first teachers for their children and they should remain their best teachers throughout their life. TCA Telugu Badi recognizes the extremely crucial role a parent plays in the academic development of a child and highly encourages and continuously strives to involve parents in this arduous venture of teaching children our mother tongue. We host Parent-Teacher conferences after the mid-term exams, usually conducted in Dec-Jan and discuss the progress made by the child. No one can know a child better than his/her parent(s). Hence, teachers seek the help of the parents in understanding the needs or difficulties of the student and work out a solution. The main motto of Team Telugu Badi is to brainstorm ways so as to reduce the effort of the students to learn the language. Parent-Teacher conferences play an essential part in achieving our goal of educating students.

I think the curriculum, teacher interaction, everything is really good. The blog is very user friendly and has all the information at one place.
